VW AMAROK
VOLKSWAGEN AG | MODELING
LAYING
THE
GROUNDWORKS
This project was completed prior to the formation of PolyQube.
Since the work reflects my early individual contribution, it's included here as part of the studio’s foundation.
For this early-stage visualization of the VW Amarok interior, I was responsible for building out the soft-parts geometry, UV layout, and a base texturing pass for material testing.
The challenge lay in developing a clean, production-ready mesh that could support future photorealistic rendering pipelines. From seat panels and trims to stitched leather components, the geometry was structured for precision and flexibility.

Modeling was guided by precision and consistency, with a focus on interpreting real-world forms through clean, purposeful geometry. Surfaces were shaped to reflect how materials behave, not just how they appear.
UVs were unwrapped manually to ensure consistent texel density across complex zones, allowing for clear material expression and downstream flexibility. Base textures were layered procedurally to inform later development.
The completed assets were handed off to the VW team in Wolfsburg for final surfacing and rendering in VRED.
